Vehicle Reaction Timer™ This patented device precisely measures the time from the release of the transmission brake or clutch to the time the vehicle reaches .8 G's. This typically relates to less than 8 inches of vehicle movement depending on the type of vehicle. Now you will know if it was the driver that was late on the tree or if a poor or inconsistent reaction time was caused by some problem in the vehicle such as a torque converter, transmission valve body, suspension setup, tire pressure, etc. You will now know if changes made to the vehicle really improved the reaction time. Easy installation, only three wires to connect. No on-track data is displayed, reaction time is not displayed until 15 seconds after the vehicle is launched. As a bonus, the vehicle reaction timer can also be easily wired to test the accuracy of delay boxes, throttle stop timers, and shift timers. |
