Head Support Posts
These posts support the cylinder head sealing surface in the critical area between the bores. Under extreme cylinder temperature and pressure, the cylinder head lifts in between the cylinders causing a blown head gasket. We solved the blown head gasket issues on our Pro Mod Hayabusa by using our Hayabusa Head Support Posts. The Hayabusa Head Support Posts are threaded 1” x 14. The Head Support Posts were designed to be used on dry block applications, but can be used on bikes with coolant by using a thread sealant on the threads of the Head Support Posts. We strongly recommend having a competent machine shop install the Head Support Posts.
